As one of the fastest rising stars in electronic music, Thomas Newson has already achieved what many people dream of in such a short space of time. Thomas has started the next chapter of his spectacular journey with the launch of his very own radio show Federation Radio, a platform that will enable him to document his extraordinary musical journey.
The Flying Dutchman, who has an impressive catalogue of releases with tracks such as ‘Flute’ and releases on the biggest labels in the scene, including: Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s Smash The House, Armada Music and Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings, is now turning his attention to the radio waves, with Federation Radio. Thomas will kick start each show with ‘The Warm Up’ – an opportunity to listen to alternative sounds from his extensive record box, before the main mix which will include the freshest and biggest Progressive House tunes in the world. Concluding the main mix, Thomas introduces the ‘Brand New Talent Mix’, handing the reigns over to an upcoming talent, giving them the opportunity to showcase their productions and skills. Rounding off the show, a ‘Top 3 Countdown’ will be presented, featuring Thomas’ top 3 records selection.
France, Thailand, Algeria, South Korea, Peru, Japan and Portugal will be the first countries to debut Federation Radio – with each episode also being made available online for easy access on YouTube and as a podcast.
