Ambience of Carolina to release new EP

Melbourne singer ‘Ambience of Carolina’ grew up immersed in music; coming from an Italian family she was surrounded by the classics.

In her teens, she began entering in singing competitions and school musicals.  On completion of high school, Carolina wanted to keep moving ahead in her music career so with every spare minute she had and with anything she could write on, she found herself writing lyrics.

Looking for someone to bring her words and music to life, she came across local producer KEHINDE and began penning her first single. With a track under her belt, Carolyn began performing with local bands around Melbourne, working as a session singer.  Her experiences led her to work with and release tracks with DJ Dub Ninja, Rubal Ka Band and Red Eye Express.

Now that her journey had come to a point and she was satisfied on who she was as a musician, it was time to work on her own solo project. She enlisted the help of 1 and 2 Productions to bring her music to life.

You can find a cover of the haunting track of Massive Attack’s ‘Teardrop’ on her latest EP; a blend of her life experiences and musical styles all put into one with an electronic backbone.

You can purchase the EP, which comes out this Sunday (20 November), here.
