‘Money‘, from their album – ‘Paradise’- released earlier this year, is at first listen, very akin to something Bruno Mars would create. It’s catchy, you can nod your head and sing along to it. Lead singer, Ziek McCarter, says: “When I wrote the song I was feeling stressed about money and I wanted to be liberated from the weight and the concept of it all. I wanted to create a different kind of relationship with it that allowed me to not be so oppressed and consumed by it.”
So, given the concept of the song, it’s worth bearing that in mind while watching the video.
