Independent recording Grime/Hip Hop artist, Whvsper, has released his hotly anticipated single “Midas Touch” from his 2nd mixtape “The Lovely Savage” which was released on the 24th August 2016.
The Croydon based rapper with the unique flow has established himself as one to watch emerging from the UK Hip Hop & Grime scene. With previous songs such as his One Take Freestyle, Panda remix and recently his Pied Piper remix which was Retweeted by Prince of Grime himself, Stormzy, Whvsper has truly embodied the essence of an all around rapper, being able to rhyme over Hip Hop & Grime instrumentals.
With his current single, ‘Midas Touch’, Whvsper has captured the sound of UK Hip Hop with his laid back approach, confident & energetic rhythm, hard hitting lyrics mixed in with the British accent. The message behind the song illustrate how effortless he finds it to create his sound, being blessed with the right touch, the ‘Midas Touch’.

His sound evolved from having listened to Grime, Hip Hop & RnB growing up with influences such as Busta Rhymes, LL cool J, Twista & R Kelly to name a few. He is also a producer having graduated in music tech from the University of Kent and attributed producers Scott Storch, Kanye West, Timberland & London on the track as influencers.
