Released this month exclusively on Beatport, ‘Gigeri’ is a team effort between Spanish DJ and producer Jose De Mara and Stockholm based rising star Anero. The duo has brought all of their skills, talents, and experience to the table to produce a remarkable single, which shows off their inspirations in typical style. Jose De Mara is a popular name within the EDM trade having his records released by renowned labels such as: Spinnin Records, Juicy Music, Kontor Records, Clippers, Extended, Wildlife, Robbins, Strictly Rhythm, Toolroom, Stereo, Nervous, and his own imprint Arcadia Records. His unique creative vision has landed him collaborations with international artists such as: Jean-Baptiste, Jackie Boyz, George Michael, DJ Sammy, and Shena amongst others.
His industrious work ethic has made him an acclaimed producer, collecting numerous feats such as a hit on Beatport’s ‘Electro Top 50 Chart’ and a ‘Best Producer / Artist’ nomination on Vicious Magazine. His efforts didn’t go unnoticed by his peers, having gained the support of top DJs such as: Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, W&W, Cosmic Gate, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike amongst others. Apart from his production work, Jose De Mara is also a wizard behind the decks, warming crowds around the world including: Switzerland, Brazil, Spain, Netherlands, Lithuania, and Albania.
On the other hand Swedish DJ and Producer Philip Dahl, better known with his stage name Anero is a rising talent within the dance music world, already supported by: AN21 and We Rave You amongst others. His sound encompasses everything that is associated with Sweden’s top-notch reputation in developing superstar producers, establishing Anero as yet another marvellous Swedish production export.
Jose De Mara’s and Anero’s newest creation ‘Gigeri’ has already turned heads within the EDM realm, getting early support from: AN21 on Size Radio and Abel Ramos on Spinnin Sessions. ‘Gigeri’ is off to an energetic start with a thumping drum groove pounding its way through a series of leftfield effect patterns. A filtered synth melody leads the way to an ascension that bursts into a speaker-bursting main section. Driven by vicious, distorted synth melodies, deep basses and a pumping drum groove, the chorus provides a huge lift to the track. After reaching its full intensity the single halts into a dreamy breakdown. The uplifting lead synth melody and airy accompaniment generate a unique feel-good aura, later transcending into another seismic drop. Jose De Mara and Anero unleash a series of modifications to the chorus, altering its dynamic levels and mood, whilst offering exciting variations throughout the whole single.
‘Gigeri’ is Jose De Mara’s and Anero’s first release on Switzerland’s leading dance label Sirup Music.
