Now the P-Sqaure brothers (Peter & Nonso) are back with a new single ‘Ejeajo’ which features US star T.I. Their brand new album ‘Double Trouble’, which the single is taken off of, has already proved a solidified hit as it has reached no.7 in the iTunes world music chart.
Whilst being undeniable kings of the Afrobeats scene, ‘Ejeajo’ sees them depart from their anthemic afro pop sound and expand into a more disco-funk sound. Ejeajo means ‘let’s dance’ in Yoruba, a statement which clearly defines what this track is all about. The collaboration with T.I adds an authentic US flavour (punctuated with little nods to Flo Rida’s Shawty got low…) You won’t be moving small to this one!
Double Trouble is the duo’s 6th studio album and includes mega collabs from diverse artists such as African music icon Awilo, Jackson Five’s Jermaine Jackson, super producer Don Jazzy and of course T.I. The reaction to the album in Africa has been huge and now it hits the UK so let’s dance!
