Released on November 17th, ‘The Rise’ is a brand new single from a collaboration of independent artists who are themselves on the up.
Ricky On Guitar, originally from east London, has built his reputation working with artists and producers on both sides of the Atlantic, performing at Glastonbury as well as the London Olympics and at the Hammersmith Apollo alongside artists such as Professor Green and McLean. ShaodDow meanwhile is a UK rapper with over 17,000 albums sold to date, coming on strong in 2014 with support from Radio 1, 1Xtra and BBC 6 Music. It’s a match made in hip hop heaven, and with the vocals of the very promising Life White thrown in the single is definitely worth paying attention to.
