We Used to Make Things formed three years ago from the unconventional union of a sophisticated Londoner and a wild and wise Yorkshire man. From this they have become an 8 piece family with 3-part harmonies, fiery brass, big melodic pop-hooks and a thumping rhythm section.
Influenced by, among others, The Kinks, The Turtles, Fats Waller, The Specials they write songs that send you on a journey through the open-plan offices of disaffected middle-management and the yearnings of love lost and unrequited.
