Having already appeared at Glastonbury, the Hammersmith Apollo and taken part in the London 2012 celebrations, it’s already been a big few years in the industry for songwriter and producer Ricky on Guitar. A creative type who seemingly enjoys collaborating with other rising stars and trying out various genres and styles, his latest single, ‘Young Girl’, was released yesterday and sees him on top form again.
There’s something old school and charming about the pop sound and samba style of the single, which features the vocals of McLean – himself enjoying life following an Urban Music Award win, a MOBO nomination and a couple of top ten hits.
