Alex Dobson is a 21 year old singer songwriter from Peterlee, Co. Durham. He is skilled in creating contemporary pop songs and recently slipped some blues comfortably into the mix. Alex graduated in June 2014 with a first class Honours Degree in Media Production, and won an award for his live radio show on Spark FM. Alex is truly a star in the making, with his distinctive vocals, and enviable guitar skills. He has released 2 singles to date, “Kites” has had a lot of positive press and never fails to impress as a live song. “Louder” hints toward a Bastille – like ability to invent a pop hook. He has supported Swim Deep on their UK tour, and his influences include John Mayer, Ben Howard and The 1975.
