Andy Evans’ upcoming album is full of miracles

From admiring the boisterous energy of Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith as a child to being introduced and moved by the powerful storytelling from Texas-style country music, gospel and red dirt music as a young man who just joined the army (stationed in Ingleside, Texas) it comes to no surprise that all these influences has shaped Andy Evans into a solid and self-assured musician.

Documenting personal journeys like a seasoned country/folk pro has earned this Austin-based singer/songwriter years of live performances around the central Texas music circuit as frontman of blues/rock act Andy Evans & The Brotherhood.

Now it’s his time to shine and the popularity from his band should make his upcoming album, “Miracle” an interesting and highly-anticipated listening. A love note wrapped in an infectious and toe-tapping presence of uplifting rock/pop gets the nine track collection going through the title track (Miracle).

“Shape of Love” lifts the mood and injects pure fun with its jive-inspired rock arrangements, which is perfectly placed in the middle of the album after a run of stripped back performances and emotionally-drenched fusions of rock/folk and the blues.

“Elemental” is probably the track that will receive heavy attention from radio stations thanks to the rich soulfulness sporting a laid-back and afterhours vibe, creating a spine-tingling sensation. Evans jumps in the gritty spirit of legend Howlin’ Wolf as he really work the guitar riffs in the ultra sultry and bluesy rock effort “Make It”.

Although it’s basically an extended love note, this album feature a healthy handful of singles that won’t struggle in receiving considerable amount of airplay particularly from adult contemporary  radio stations.

“Miracle” album is set for release on 26th January. For now, have a listen to the lead single, “Miracle”.
