In 2011 Jonas (Solace the Day) and Morten (Barricades) started jamming, and with the addition of Kim (100 knives inside & Amplified) on vocals the band started to take shape.
In a world that moves towards a more polished and digital sound, Captain Roselyn from Aarhus, Denmark are moving towards a darker, more raw and vibrant soundscape.

They grew up listening to bands like Norma Jean, Zao, Refused, Living Sacrifice etc. and the kind of energy these bands contain is what have inspired Captain Roselyn to start out.
In contrary to the dark sound their music embraces, their lyrical universe moves towards the light in their personal faith and journey with Jesus Christ.
