Nothing North Of Alaska are an acoustic style duo from South Wales comprising of Greg Ryan on vocals and Tim Miles on guitar.
Starting out with Tim as the singer and Greg as the producer, things changed when Tim was diagnosed with long term vocal damage. Tim quickly brushed up on his guitar skills, realized that Greg could sing almost as well as he could and the rest is history!
Drawing influences from Tim’s love of the lyrical based themes of country music and Greg’s love of folk, the result is an eclectic mix of fast picked acoustic melody lines, raw, energy filled vocal performances and the occasional appearance of an absolutely rockin’ tenor ukulele solo.
NNOA are currently on the International Independent Charts and are spending their second week at number 2.
