scotty

Scott McWatt is a contemporary folk singer-songwriter from Glasgow. He’s released two critically acclaimed albums and has played everywhere from Ireland to Estonia, encapsulating audiences with his blue-collared outlook on life. Despite writing songs and lyrics since the age of 14, Scott didn’t actually own or know how to play a guitar until he was 18. As a youngster, his family couldn’t afford to buy him a guitar and instead was gifted one from a friend who he then played in a band with. Scott taught himself how to play guitar and write all sorts of different songs. His music is brimming with stories, tales from his life he has spun into songs. His current concept album “A Ceíst Amà showed a maturity while receiving an extremely warm reception from listeners.
