Zufo taught himself to play by ear – by listening to his favourite songs, that he loved so much that they would play in his head and in this way he started to learn the fabric of melodies and grooves. Everyone says that they’re Beatles fans and well they should.. he bought Sgt Peppers with $ he made cutting grass at 10.
Long ago he realized he wanted to write music and rented a four track (cassette) and locked himself in a room for a month and wrote his first 22 songs. 3 of them were pretty good. Its been that way ever since. The instruments he plays are just a means to get songs recorded, so he considers himself a musician secondary to a song writer.
