Music Crowns is an online music awards talent concept consisting of 2 category music awards (Rock Music Crown & Urban Music Crown) for UK and Ireland unsigned acts 18+ within the music industry. Formerly Pop Music Crown existed but for a more streamlined concept we have decided to remove the pop category.
Each crown has its own star-studded judging panel, prizes and application process.
Our winners in 2010 were Leo LeVox from Birmingham in Urban, Maria Marcial from Manchester in Pop and Messiah from Edinburgh in the Rock category.
2011 winners were Ana Free from London via Portugal in Pop, Clapz Shizzayne from South London in Urban and My Forever in the Rock category from Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
To be in contention of winning the Music Crowns you must have recorded your own song and not have submitted a cover version.
2012 is set to be a sabbatical year out but we intend to increase our support of unsigned and independent artists with reviews and interviews on our website and social media.
