Chicago’s Chason has spent 2015 steadily working his way from one plateau to another in the ever competitive local scene and today continues to step out as a voice to pay attention to with the release of his second single off the upcoming Recollection project by the name of “Famous” The single comes on the heels of his debut of the lead single “Back & Forth” soon after his August release of his primer for the full-length, the Remembrance EP. Just the beginning of what should prove to be a very exciting campaign for the young act, “Famous” does great job both building off the previous release as well as continuing to prove the kind of all-encompassing range that Chason possesses.

About Chason is a 21-year-old crossover talent from Chicago. A newcomer to the scene, he started a buzz in late 2014 by teaming up with local acts like Angel Davanport, Probcause and immersed himself in the community that surrounded Carter Co Studios on the city’s near south side. Linking up with producer Drew Mantia, Chason went about crafting a distinct style of music that borrows from the cross-section of artists that have the ability to express themselves both through song and by rapping. While facing a huge uphill journey through a city with one of the most busy music scenes in the country, Chason has turned to his own story to see him through, leaning on his Recollections as a way to show the world what he is capable of.
