Presha J The Traveller's Guide EP

The wait is finally over for fans and critics of British Hip Hop artist Presha J, as his long awaited and highly anticipated sophomore EP The Traveller’s Guide is finally here via Writeway Music, seven years after he first exploded onto the scene with his critically acclaimed 2008 debut EP Changes.

Led by the EP’s lead single ‘Live For You’, which was released last month to rave reviews and support from theMOBO Awards, Source Magazine and Certified UK among others, Presha J’s The Traveller’s Guide is an exciting conceptual record, which takes listeners on a captivating aural journey, to find out who they are, who they want to be and what their purpose is.

Comparing The Traveller’s Guide to his 2008 debut EP, Presha J says, “While ‘Changes’ was about my testimony of being a Christian, this new record unearths a more mature viewpoint”. Presha J goes on to explain, “it’s based on things I’ve seen, heard and experienced, and challenges and trials I’ve faced. This EP is to encourage listeners to be persistent in finishing their journey, despite what they may face”.

From the glorious opener ‘Stations’, to ‘War’ which sees the EP’s protagonist in a battle with himself, to the introspective EP title track ‘The Traveller’s Guide’, to lead single ‘Live For You’ which closes out the EP in triumphant fashion, Presha J has not only crafted an ingenious project filled with compelling songs and exciting music, but also his best and most honest and record to date.
