Lucija is a 12 year old singer/songwriter from Slovenia.
‘Firefly’ is Lucija’s debut single, which she wrote, recorded and self produced the demo for during the middle of the 2021 lockdown when the desperation of the situation was starting to sink in.
‘Firefly’ shines with a gentle guitar melody and the sound of rain gives the track a lo-fi feel to it.
Lucija then proceeds to deliver a stirring vocal performance, which delights our ears with beautiful harmonies.
Her parents shared the demo version of the track via twitter and it went viral, radio stations and senior musicians then reached out and from this Lucija was able to re-record the song in a recording studio.
The producer JAMirko ensured the track kept the charm of the demo by allowing happy mistakes such as mouse clicks to still appear.
