Casper Esmann transforms ‘Get Lucky’ into a fingerstyle guitar anthem

Copenhagen’s Casper Esmann is one of Denmark’s best fingerstyle guitarists who creates enchanting covers of chart-topping songs.

This phenomenal 24-year-old fingerstyle guitar musician began his musical journey playing classical piano and with 7 years of experience on the keys, Casper decided to try his hand at the guitar. Ten years later and Casper is now renowned for his adept skills both nationally and globally. He’s been touring the world for the last 4 years and has performed with a number of influential musicians including Sungha Jung, Tommy Emmanuel, Andy McKee, Joe Robinson and Adam Rafferty. Currently preparing for a wealth of summer shows, Casper will be taking his sound to Japan for the first time in his musical career.

In addition to churning out incredible records, Casper is a masterful performer providing his loyal and new fans with captivating and otherworldly recitals. Whilst being prominent on Denmark’s festival scene performing to 15,000 people plus, Casper has also appeared on Denmark’s biggest TV station TV2 where his unique sound reached millions.

In Casper’s latest cover, he gives Daft Punk and Pharrell‘s 2013 summer hit, ‘Get Lucky’, the fingerstyle guitar treatment. Casper’s acoustic guitar arrangement is nothing short of mesmerising as he manages to incorporate a number of the songs funky melodies all by himself. Adding a completely different stripped back feeling to the track, he finds no trouble in making ‘Get Lucky’ his own.

Caper’s latest album, Blossom Dance, is now available on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music and Google Play as well as physical copies to purchase on Casper’s website. Head over to Casper’s socials for regular updates on his music.
