Watch Greta Salóme take on Game Of Thrones’ The Mountain in her video for ‘My Blues’

Greta Salóme is a fiery and energetic Icelandic singer-songwriter with a diverse edge to her sound. This woman of many talents derives from an extensive musical background boasting degrees in both violin performance and music, but it didn’t start there. Possessing an astonishingly advanced ability from a very young age, Greta was highly encouraged by all those around her to follow her dreams.

Her electrifying approach to performing is what gives Greta such a unique sound. Combining classical violin, energetic vocals and elements of contemporary pop music, Greta Salóme has a rich and symbolic style.

Most notably known for representing Iceland in the Eurovision song contest in 2012 and her debut album, In The Silence, Greta Salóme has been travelling the world and performing to the masses. After being awarded the title of Concertmaster of The North Iceland Symphony Orchestra in 2016, Greta stunned crowds again by winning the national selections for the Eurovision Song Contest. The second time representing her country, Iceland, she made the breakthrough with her original song, ‘Hear Them Calling’.

Greta’s latest offering ‘My Blues’ features a familiar face, especially for Game of Thrones fans. The track is a feisty and in your face journey, to say the least. Powerful and emotive, it personifies an uphill battle as Greta takes on The Mountain in the gym and pushes herself to the limit. Fiery and energetic with an added soulful swing, ‘My Blues’ is enough to get anyone’s heart racing.
