KSI continues to make moves in the music industry with the latest signing of prodigious talent Yxng Dave. When asked to what heights KSI thinks Dave will reach, his response was “he’ll be bigger than me”.
The label, dubbed ‘The Online Takeover’ is run by KSI and his manager / industry mogul Mams Taylor. Speaking on why he started the label, KSI states “TOT. The online takeover. Ya boy has created his own music label. Looking at my résumé, I’ve always been about making sure the people around me are eating good. As an artist born of the current generation, I know artists need, and what labels lack, and I wanted to create a safe and fair place for them to cultivate their talents and shine.”
The latest artist is Yxng Dave, a fiery and hungry young rapper who gives tinges of Central Cee with a columbian twang. Opening up the legendary BL@CKBOX U18 Cypher (now sitting just shy of 1.8 million views), as well as opening up for Dappy at Birmingham’s O2 Institute. as well as the aforementioned KSI’s sold out show in the iconic 12,500 capacity Wembley Arena.
