Glastonbury 2019 line-up revealed

The line-up for Glastonbury 2019 was revealed this morning via Twitter. This year, the Worthy Farm festival will see Stormzy, The Cure and The Killers headlining.

Stormzy will take the top spot on the Pyramid Stage on Friday night, while The Killers and The Cure will follow with respective performances on the Saturday and Sunday night of the festival.

Earlier this year, Stormzy hit back at critics who voiced their unhappiness when he was named a headliner. In an interview with Elle, Stormzy explained that the negative responses have spurned him on, motivating him with “mad underdog syndrome” and “confidence”.

Also on the bill are Kylie Minogue, George Ezra, Liam Gallagher, Miley Cyrus, Vampire Weekend, Two Door Cinema Club, Bastille, Christine and the Queens, Hozier, Sigrid, Years & Years, Lauryn Hill, Janelle Monae and Wu-Tang Clan.

Despite the three headline acts being male, Glastonbury has worked towards achieving more of a balanced line-up this year, with 42% of the currently announced acts being female.

Glastonbury 2019 will take place at Worthy Farm, Somerset, from 26th – 30th June.
