Gold Star has just released two brand new tracks, ‘Dani’s In Love’ and ‘Get It Together’. These latest cuts are taken from his forthcoming LP, Uppers and Downers, which comes out on 7th September via Autumn Tone Records.
Gold Star is the country-folk moniker of LA-based singer-songwriter, Marlon Rabenreither. His music is coated in hazy retro filters, reminiscent of the classic songwriters of the past – from the poetic delicateness of Leonard Cohen to the jubilant choruses of James Taylor.

Gold Star will be supporting Phoebe Bridgers again on 21st August in London after recently opening her show in San Francisco. He will then perform a hometown Los Angeles record release show at Highland Park Ebell on 13th September, as well as shows at Brooklyn NY’s Baby’s All Right on 24th October and at Pitchfork’s Avant-Garde Festival on 31st October.
