Harry Strange releases new single ‘Six Feet Under’ ahead of forthcoming EP, ‘Crying at the Party’

Having garnered over 1.5 million streams on Spotify in recent months, Bristol-based singer-songwriter Harry Strange has returned to satiate our appetite for great music with the release of his latest track, ‘Six Feet Under’.

In a similar vein to previous singles ‘Sober’ and ‘Steady Unstable’, ‘Six Feet Under’ remains firmly rooted in alt-pop territory. Although this time around, Harry’s taking a nod towards the ’80s with synth waves, gated snares, bell synths and pockets of vocoder-style vocal manipulation. Endlessly authentic in his creations, Strange is effortless and brilliantly distinct.

Listen to ‘Six Feet Under’ below.

The track comes as the third and final single taken from Strange’s forthcoming EP, Crying At The Party – a concept record that tells a story of the events, encounters and emotions experienced over the course of a night out. As such, the track lends itself perfectly as another piece of the puzzle in this journey; offering an introspective look into the feelings experienced by those navigating their way through loves, friendships and heartbreaks.

“It explores the drunken mindset of really wanting someone, but also knowing that they’re not good for you.” Harry says on the track. “It’s about this sense of self-awareness that slowly slips away over the space of an evening of drinking and leaves you with your instinctive feelings and emotions that might not always be the most sensible things to act on.”
