Janet Jackson, aged 50, has welcomed her first child into the world with husband, Wissam Al Mana. A statement has said the musician and the Qatari businessman were “thrilled” to welcome their son who has been named Eissa.
“Janet had a stress-free, healthy delivery and is resting comfortably. No further details are available at this time,” the statement went on to read.
The singer has kept out of the spotlight during her pregnancy but did take to social media in late November to insist she was “doing well”.
Rumours surrounding her pregnancy surfaced last April when she postponed her Unbreakable tour. She posted a video on Twitter at the time in which she told fans that she was postponing the tour because “there’s been a sudden change”. Watch the video in full below.
