Fenne Lily has shared two tracks from her recently announced live EP.
‘Three Oh Nine’ and ‘The Hand You Deal’ are taken from Festival No. 6, which is set for release on May 24th.
The 6-track EP was recorded during the summer of 2018 at Festival No. 6, after Lily was handpicked from the lineup and to work with the festival’s composer in residence Joe Duddell and the No. 6 Ensemble.
Joe Duddell arranged 6 songs from Fenne’s acclaimed debut album On Hold in the months leading up to the festival.
Speaking about this collaboration, Duddell said: “When I first heard Fenne’s haunting songs and delicate, fragile voice I knew I wanted to collaborate with her. Some artists bare their soul but not all feel comfortable handing over their work to be reimagined for the classical ensemble. There was a lot of love and emotion in the room”.
The 6-track EP will be released digitally on 24th May, while 2 of the EP’s tracks are already available online – check them out below:
