‘Thank U, Jeff’: Watch James Corden serenading Jeff Goldblum Ariana Grande-style

James Corden has paid the ultimate homage to his favorite celebrity, Jeff Goldblum.

Last night (December 5th), The Late Late Show host re-imagined Ariana Grande’s hit music video for ‘thank u, next’ – although, his mind is only on one man.

Drawing inspiration from the original video, which spoofs three coming-of-age teen blockbusters to record-smashing success on YouTube, Corden fawns over the Jurassic Park actor in his own rendition of the break-up anthem – check it out below.

Opening with Corden thanking the star for attending his show, the interaction takes a weird turn when the beat of ‘thank u, next’ kicks in.

“You seem quite sincere … what’s that music?” Goldblum asks before the camera cuts to a shot of Corden lying his bedroom floor in silk pyjamas looking at a Goldblum-style burn book.

Naturally, Grande herself saw, adored and responded to the spoof on Twitter: “omg…… may i please….. please for Christmas have the thank u, jeff book?” she wrote. “it’s for a friend. promise.”
