‘Bad Explicit’ delivers a hard bass line whilst Myla Vie’s lyrics have an urban and gritty edge to them

Myla Vie is a singer/songwriter from the small town of Leigh-on-sea in Essex.

Her previous singles ‘Mistake’ and ‘Real Love’ have received airtime from BBC Introducing Essex, Phoenix Fm and Gateway Fm.

In 2018 she joined a duo and worked alongside Andrew Hayman, a song writer and producer for artists such as The Appleton Sisters and Gareth Gates.

In 2019 Myla View decided to start working on her own music and released her first ever single ‘Colour in the Grey’.

Early 2020 came and she had already released three more singles.

Working hard throughout lockdown, Myla created her first EP ‘The Irony of Loneliness’, with only what she had at her fingertips.

August 2021 saw Myla Vie release ‘Bad Explicit’.

The track delivers a hard bass line whilst the lyrics have an urban and gritty edge to them and this is also reflected in the choice of melodies and the overall production.
