Top three sets of Glastonbury 2017

With the dust settling from the weekend’s Glastonbury Festival and the weary sun-soaked revelers now returning to normality (or trying, at least) it’s time to round up the best acts the festival had to offer.

With headliners such as Radiohead, Ed Sheeran, and the Foo Fighters, in addition to the other incredible acts, art installations, and foodie destinations, it was bound to be an unforgettable weekender. The Friday to Sunday festival hosted a whopping 155 acts across five stages with 203,000 in attendance visiting each day. One of the most diverse selections of acts the festival has ever seen, including poetry, comedy, and theater, Glastonbury 2017 undeniably had something for everyone this year.

If you couldn’t make it this year, read on to find out what you missed. If you did manage to grab yourself a ticket Glasto’s latest installment you can relive the experience below.

Radiohead

Emerging on the main Pyramid stage on the Friday (23rd June), bathed in white light, Radiohead celebrated the 20th anniversary of their eponymous OK Computer album. With a set packed with classics and ending with hits ‘Creep’ and ‘Karma Police’, the group delivered a nostalgic and mesmerising headline set.

Boy Better Know

Comprised of JME, Skepta, Jammer, Frisco, Shorty and Maximum, the all-star grime team took to the stage on Sunday to ‘Shutdown’ the festival. Like something Glasto’s never seen before, the performance packed a punch with its raw, hyped-up energy.

Foo Fighters

Although Dave Grohl’s daughter, Harper Grohl, didn’t make an appearance on drums like she did last week, the band still delivered one of the strongest performances of the festival. During the Foo Fighters heartfelt performance the band dedicated their final song, ‘Everlong’ to a fan, Laura Plane, who died from breast cancer. The iconic rock group’s frontman said: “I’d like to dedicate this song to someone named Laura, who couldn’t be here tonight. But we should all dance this one for her.” Watch Foo Fighters full performance from Saturday above.
