Key Glock Documents His Scintillating European Tour

Memphis rapper Key Glock capped off his scintillating European tour last week with a show in Paris, bringing to an end a twelve show run that saw the Paper Route Empire star solidify his continental fanbase. Glock has also immortalised each show with a mini documentary video, giving his fans behind the scenes action as he embarked on his European journey.

Key Glock has been one of the hottest rappers to come out of the States in recent years, with his mixtapes regularly finding their way onto the Billboard album charts. Both ‘Yellow Tape’ and ‘Yellow Tape 2’, as well as 2018’s ‘Glockoma’, have helped establish the rapper’s brand of heavy hitting instrumentals and audacious, visceral lyricism. Furthermore, the man from Memphis continues to reinforce his city as a hotbed for Hip-Hop talent, continuing the legacy of the likes of Three 6 Mafia and the late Young Dolph, Glock’s cousin and frequent collaborator.

Aside from Dolph, Key Glock is an artist who has shunned the world of collaboration to focus on his own sound, which has made his come up all the more impressive. The rapper has shut down shows and stages all over Europe, including performances at Woo Hah Festival in the Netherlands, and Rolling Loud Festival in Portugal. Glock also dropped off the video for his new single ‘Diapers’, before his show in London earlier this month.

In what has been a difficult twelve months for Glock, his European tour, and the videos that have come out alongside it, prove that the love for the rapper stretches worldwide. After dropping the video to ‘I Be’ just four days ago, it is not out of the question for Glizock to give us more music before we hit 2023. If his fans in Europe are anything to go by, it feels as if Glock will only be hitting bigger stages the next time he returns, as the Memphis sound swells in popularity and influence.
