Beau Wilding will take you on a musical journey with his new single “The Dove”

Hailing from California, Beau Wilding is a solo artist with a signature and unique sound. After a disease left him “legally blind” at the age of 18, Wilding’s love of music was amplified, and he found creativity useful as an expression of thoughts, feelings and emotions. The singer-songwriter has also gained an infamous reputation for his live gigs, which have attracted hundreds of new loyal fans.

His latest single “The Dove” is a musically immersive new offering. Rhythmic guitars, ethereal string sections and stripped-back percussion can all be found on the track, paying homage to punk, blues and jazz. His vocals smash through the instrumental, working hand in glove with irresistible melodies. The track is accompanied by an equally powerful video.

Speaking about the track, Beau says: “It’s about living a life with perceived imperfections and the work of art that is living that life, the process of making it a life of beauty, joy and connection not in spite of those imperfections but because of them. The sound is intentionally simultaneously vulnerable and abrasive to capture how this life may come with rasps but may be equally sweet. The Dove is inspired by my father, who had a significant brain injury, but is relatable to all of us. We’re all given these imperfect bodies, and the work of art that is a life is not always to obsess over eradicating flaws, but to allow those flaws to help tell one’s unique and magical story.

With the album “seeing i god” to be released in April 2023, we cannot wait to see where he’ll take this.
