Berne release stop-motion triumph ‘Stay’

Berne are a mesmerizing alt-pop duo who regularly present thoughtful and poetic musical offerings, this time coming in the form of their latest single, titled ‘Stay’. The release is an inspiring single that tackles our insular nature to conserving the world in which we live. The narrative is supported by a glorious stop-motion visual which is both playful and poignant. Check it out below:

Discussing the release, the London-based duo explain:

“Stay is our plea to planet Earth for more time to reverse the damage we’ve done, before it’s too late. As more and more of us understand the urgent climate challenge, we’re inspired by positive changes people are really trying to make. We believe human spirit and togetherness will allow the globe to smile once again, which is what we wanted to represent in the visual. It’s a serious situation, but it’s still repairable…just.”

With just a hat-trick of releases under their belt, they pair have come far and quickly. Discussing the refugee crisis in ‘Oceans’ and animal rights in ‘To The Lions’, it’s clear that Berne have a lot in to say. With a clear message for change in all their work, we think Berne are one of the most important artists around right now.
