Blending the Caribbean-Dutch influences of Sint Maarten with American electro-pop and hip-hop, ‘Elevate Me’ is the latest dance track release of Wyldephyre and Jason Faust. Wyldephyre hails from Wilmington, North Carolina and Jason is based in Los Angeles, California. The two American producers met in Valencia, Spain where they obtained their Master’s Degrees as a part of the Berklee College of Music’s study abroad program.
With a culmination of vibrant synthesizers, captivating piano melodies and a tight house drum groove, this track creates a chill musical vibe while bringing the energy to the dancefloor all at once. The catchy vocal hook lines and telltale lyrics by Chanti & Ashton Martin leave a memorable impression to all that listen to the song and express the lives and stories of all of the creators.
While attending various music conferences in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and Cannes, France, they met two international artists that became the featured vocalists on the track: Chanti, a pop vocalist from Sint Maarten and based in The Netherlands, and Ashton Martin, an Atlanta based hip-hop artist.
“Our dynamic was electric from the moment we all met. At the start of creating the song, we all had recently met in Spain and The Netherlands at various music conferences. The production of the track started off in a Spanish studio. The foundation of the track between Wyldephyre and myself really only took about an hour to lay out. From that seamless inspiration, we knew all we needed was to find the right vocalists to create something special.
Shortly after meeting Chanti and Ashton, we decided to collaborate on it further and continued working remotely in our home locations. Ashton Martin, the rapper and I even reunited back in Florida to record his rap verse on the track. From two continents and 3 US states, we were able to bring ‘Elevate Me’ to life.”

It is about leaving the nest and support system of family for the first time with not much money, connections or work and taking a huge leap into unfamiliar territory in order to grow and adapt into a challenging, yet thriving environment.
