Cooper Phillip has always been a small town girl with dreams bigger than anyone can imagine, and now, it seems like those dreams are becoming a reality.
With Cooper’s mother away touring the world playing the violin, Cooper was raised by her grandmother and aunt. Finding comfort in music, she began to sing. Inspired from a young age by the great Ella Fitzgerald, Cooper would learn all of her songs off by heart. At just 11-years-old, Cooper won her first singing competition showcasing her inspirational talent to the local scene. After being reunited with her mother, Cooper attended a music academy enhancing her skills at classical piano, harp, ballet and singing. A pivotal moment in her musical journey was when her vocal coach introduced her to the music of Mariah Carey.
At 17, Cooper moved to New York and then LA, and that’s where the journey truly began. Cooper Phillip’s vocals beam with charisma and her soulful tones are enough to give you goosebumps. The emotion she emits is raw and uncharted; her voice mirrors this perfectly. Making the Whitney Houston classic, ‘I’m Your Baby Tonight‘, her own, it’s about time everyone started getting very excited about Cooper Phillip.
