Earlier this week J. Cole announced that he would be releasing a surprise album.
The new record is called K.O.D, as his Twitter announcement revealed, and was first shared via a secret listening party in New York City. According to the rapper, the album’s name, K.O.D, is said to have 3 meanings. In a tweet, he stated that K.O.D stands for “Kids on Drugs, King Overdosed, Kill Our Demons. The rest of the album I leave to your interpretation.” Listen to the new album below.
On the day of the new LP’s release, the title track broke the record for most streams in a day racking up 4.2 million, knocking Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do‘ off the top spot.
