Having already cemented herself on the scene with a string of glittering releases these last few years, Southern California-based artist Jálon is now back for 2023 to unveil her dreamy dual single release, ‘Tried’ and ‘BILLY’.
Harnessing more of that rich and immersive R&B sound she is known for, these new offerings show she is still very much on top of her creative game. While ‘Tried’ offers up a more lovelorn texture throughout, ‘BILLY’ is the far more emotive of the two, showing more of that wondrous dexterity she has presented throughout her career to date.
Adding about the singles, she said, “Each track represents being accountable for your actions and learning and growing from that. Music is my way of venting and these songs are basically my therapy sessions.”
