Jessie Ware has unveiled her new song, ‘Alone‘, which premiered on Annie Mac‘s BBC Radio 1 show.
In addition to the new track, Ware also revealed in an interview on the show that her pregnancy unexpectedly helped her create her new record. Speaking to Mac she stated: “I definitely tried to rush this record, and then I got pregnant. I think by me getting pregnant, it actually made me take stock of what I had and actually realize that I could do better.”
Annie Mac described the track as an “amalgamation of every Jessie Ware song I’ve ever heard, It’s just so perfectly you.”
‘Alone‘ is a piano driven offering packed with Ware’s haunting vocals and echoing harmonies. Listen to the new track (which starts around the 1:20 mark) and radio interview here.
