Listen to July Jones’ immersive Jump In The Water

London-based singer-songwriter and creative, July Jones, has just released her debut single; the haunting electro-pop offering, ‘Jump In The Water’. The stark, atmospheric production (which comes courtesy of Tylr Schnydyr) is balanced by July’s strong and naturally soulful vocal delivery.

To coincide with this release, the 20-year-old singer has also dropped this stunning music video to accompany the track. With imagery playing a huge part in all her content, she explains:

“Every time I write, I see the sound visually, and I always gravitate towards something I call a ‘blue’ sound. For me, the colour blue translates to the dark, cold contemporary feel that I want people to recognize me for.”

After playing The Great Escape in May and headlining Notting Hill Arts Club for her single launch in June, July Jones is one to watch for the summer ahead. As a proud promoter of all things LGBT, she has already has played London Pride main stage last year and will be performing again at Trafalgar Square to more than 40,000 as part of this year’s London Pride on 8th of July. Fans can also catch her play at The Hospital Club, Covent Garden on 5th of July.

Outside of her solo career, she has co-written for other artists, gaining BBC Radio 1 playlisted tracks along the way. Now fully focusing on her own material she dives into the summer with this debut track and a full remix package to follow.
