MGMT have shared their second single, ‘When You Die‘, from their upcoming album, Little Dark Age.
The band, consisting of Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser, released their comeback and lead single ‘Little Dark Age‘ in October. The album of the same name marks their fourth album and first since their 2013 self-titled effort. Watch the video for ‘When You Die‘ below.
Speaking to Zane Lowe about the album, which is reportedly set to be released in February, the band said that the album came together by sending ideas between each other as they live on opposite sides of the country: “It felt like all the work we had done, grinding away for a year and going through different methods of recording and stuff, it finally was paying off, and like we had reached a flow. It was a sort of chemistry that was like the magic feeling we had when we were in college, messing around in our dorm rooms.”
