DIY indie band Lotusbliss have released their new single ‘Thunder in the Room’, taken from their upcoming EP ‘Bittersweet’. The divine vocals, resonating percussion and shimmering guitars of their latest track provide an exciting taste of what’s to come on from their expertly produced and emotionally charged EP. ‘Thunder in the Room’ is accompanied by an introspective music video, directed by the three bandmates and brothers from Canterbury.
Offering tunes that are both chilled yet intense, the band focus on an ambient yet sleek musical delivery. Known for pouring vulnerability into their lyrics, Lotusbliss says of their music “anger, nostalgia and forgiveness sit together side by side”.
The band made their debut in 2019, after refining the groove-infused melodies and moody fills of their signature sound. They have accumulated over 80,000 streams on Spotify to date, boasting an original and magnetic discography that includes fan favourite singles ‘The Horror’ and ‘Carpet’.
