Loupe release immersive new single “It’s Getting Wild, Getting Older”

Amsterdam indie rock quartet Loupe have made quite the impression on the music industry. Their refreshing and signature sound has impressed fans and tastemakers alike. The likes of De Kop, 3FM, 3voor12, Porridge Radio, Lovejoy and Moss, to name a few, have offered their full support.

Loupe are back with a new offering in the form of single “It’s Getting Wild, Getting Older.” With grooving drums, warm bass lines and intricate guitar lines, the instrumental is immersive and textually diverse. On top, vocals grace the track softly, working hand in glove with well-penned lyrics. Featuring themes of young adulthood, life in the big city and human relationships, the band seek to fully connect with their audience by delving into their personal experiences.

Speaking about the single, they say: “It’s Getting Wild, Getting Older is about how you can find yourself ending up somewhere thinking; Is this it? It’s about feeling really small in this big universe and wondering why and what it is we are here for.

The band’s forthcoming debut “Do You Ever Wonder What Comes Next? was recorded with producer Arne van Petegem (Moss, Styrofoam) and mixed by Beau Sorenson (Death Cab For Cutie, Sparklehorse). We, for one, cannot wait to see where they’ll take this.
