21-year old artist and producer Malik English has burst back onto the scene with his brand new pop-punk inspired single ‘Feel It’. Unafraid to break genre boundaries and get experimental with his sound, Malik’s brand is effortlessly cool and sing-along worthy. Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, the rising artist has been releasing music since 2017, and has performed at various venues including The Apollo and The Bowery Electric. Amassing over 200k streams on Spotify alone, Malik is steadily making his way to the top.
Discussing the meaning behind his new single, Malik explains: “Feel It is that song you jump around in your room to when no one’s looking. I wanted to make it fun and take it back to that garage-band, 2000s MTV era. It’s important for me to constantly show how versatile I am & redefine the stereotypes of what artists that look like me can do.”
Having racked up support from tastemakers including Notion Magazine, Link Up TV and Majorstage, Malik’s music has also notably appeared in Beyonce’s ‘Black is King’.
