Fresh off the release of buoyant debut single, ‘Lavender’, eighteen-year-old Leyma has just dropped another new track entitled, ‘bumpintheroad.’ Featuring slinky hip-hop production and sparse guitar, ‘bumpintheroad’ is a poignant and moving track that deals with the emotional struggles of long-term commitment.
When speaking of the track’s subject matter Leyma explained how he was observing the relationships of those close to him: “The bumps that I’m talking about sway between two meanings, problems and drug use, both are things which are quite present with people around me, especially people I know in relationships. Everyone comes across problems. No matter how rich, tall or funny you are, you always find these bumps in the road.”
