After blowing us away with their terrific self-titled debut EP earlier this year, hip-hop collective OSP emerge once again to deliver their charismatic new single ‘Iyah’.
Stepping away from their traditional hip-hop and rap-inspired roots to explore a more dancehall flavour, ‘Iyah’ makes for one of the more compelling additions in their catalogue to date. With its genre-bending approach to production and direction, these guys are setting themselves up as one of the more inventive names out there right now.
Speaking about the new track, they said, “Iyah was inspired by a lifetime of hearing the word used. The beat was an experiment that went well and lyrically, the track is an exploration of all the things Iyah means.”
