PleasureInc drop ‘Croissant’, which you’re guaranteed to relish.

PleasureInc’s brothers from Norwich, Jesse, and Louis, who boast influences from the fashion, film, and art world. The duo alludes to Blur, Tyler, The Creator, and the Beastie Boys in their songs while upholding their own style. The pair’s aims are evident as they channel their music through their aliases of Kenny Pleasures and Jonny Silver: Join the corporation. Feel good. As evidenced by their latest release, ‘Croissant,’ is a charming, witty, and fascinating track that opens in a Fonejacker style and is full of twists and turns of irresistible melodies wrapped in mid-90s style production and modernist indie-pop. Making it a terrific encounter that you won’t regret.

Discussing the single, Jesse and Louis discuss:

Croissant was probably the easiest song we have ever written; the entire song just fell out of our heads into the computer. We were obsessed with the idea of embracing the nonsensical, specifically trying not to overthink things lyrically. ‘Tell me what you want / Feed me my croissant’ came out of thin air and just stuck, as did the entirety of the first half of the song. We were channeling Beastie Boys, De La Sol, and MF DOOM, opting for playful camaraderie based around the theme of the fake and artificial.”

PleasureInc is on a roll, establishing itself as a one-of-a-kind act with a spate of upcoming shows alongside the release of their latest single. Gradually making their way into your playlists and hearts, which we promise, will be more than worthwhile –  ‘Croissant’ is out now!
