Preston band DR!FTWOOD are back with the release of new single ‘4:45’

The DR!FTWOOD boys are back, after the enforced hibernation period they have wiped the sleepy dust from their eyes and emerged blinking into the sunlight of 2021. The Preston based trio Hugh, Nathan and Marcus release their brand new single ‘4:45‘.

4:45 is an infectious indie pop anthem, produced and mixed by Michael Smith at RYP Recordings and mastered by “Hippy” Baldwin at Metropolis Studios. It’s one of those songs where once you listen to it, you keep hearing it over and over in your head as the hooks make their way into parts of your brain you probably haven’t used for the past year. This is the song that would make you lose your shit at a festival and afterwards hope that no one one was live streaming you across social media. In fact in the video, Hugh also shows you how to dance in case you need assistance, Marcus and Nathan can be seen briefly, checking out the moves (and probably taking notes).

Like all bands and most of the music Industry, DR!FTWOOD lost a succession of dates that were lined up across the Country in 2021 to further cement their claim to be one of the best new emerging acts in the UK following a very successful 2019 and what there was of 2020. However the rebuild has begun and they are currently rebooking/newly booking live dates. If they happen to be performing somewhere near you, or even within a few hundred miles (Government travel recommendations allowing) make sure you get to see them in full effect. Dr!ftwood put on a brilliant show, they really are one of those bands that make you feel glad you went and you’ll be travelling home singing most of their set over and over, either out of choice or because you can’t help yourself.

DR!FTWOOD, listen to them, go and see them, support them, stream them, they are why people love music.

“4:45” is released 9th April on Right Track Records https://ingroov.es/4-45-9x
