Hailing from Australia, RAINEE is slowly but surely taking the chill music world by storm with his soothing brand of lo-fi instrumentals, while already collaborating with some of the scene’s best. Sharing his tunes independently, RAINEE – who is the alias of singer and guitarist Ben Beamish – has amassed more than 150k streams on Spotify with his first two singles “coffee on the roof” and “where it always rains,” and followed them up with a collaboration with Nairobi-based producer Jeff Kaale.
Now, RAINEE is ready to unveil yet another high-profile collaboration with none other than musician and coffee connoisseur Koala Karlous. Their joint production is titled “Canopy” and flawlessly takes listeners from one intimate soundscape to another, combining soothing guitar sections with washed-out instrumental parts that ebb and flow masterfully.
