REYKO showcase their signature sound on new album “Fantasía”

The masterminds REYKO are Spaniards Soleil and Igor. The London-based alt-pop outfit have gained a loyal fanbase whilst receiving a warm welcome from important tastemakers in the industry. Their unique and refreshing take on alternative pop is unexpected, but clearly needed, with their unique sound coming tinged with psychedelic pop, electronica and art-punk. Their songs have also landed placements in commercials and TV series- you may even already be a fan without knowing

REYKO’s latest offering comes in the form of 10-track album “Fantasía.” There’s something on the album for everyone. The album pays tribute to REYKO’s roots, with some songs such as “Siempre Estaré Contigo” being sung in Spanish. Tracks such as “Already There” are thrashing, anthemic numbers that have a larger-than-life sound. There’s even instrumentals on the album, with “6pm” providing a mellow, tranquil end to the musical journey, proving that”Fantasía” is more than just an album, it’s a fully immersive musical experience.

In ‘Fantasía’, REYKO opens the door to their own world, full of overlapping layers. The world created by Soleil and Igor is, after all, a big celebration of life with all its ups and downs, angles and nuances.
