Richard Orofino shines on newest offering ‘Ignore Me’

Latest single, ‘Ignore Me’, from Brooklyn-based singer Richard Orofino is a fresh slice of modern indie-pop.

This ambitious and invigorating track is framed by synths and features a stuttering drum beat throughout, the dreamlike vocals rounding off the lo-fi influenced song. Inspired by Larry David and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Orofino and co-writer Jasper Leak penned this track about their relaxed and nonchalant “outlook on life”.

Having begun his career in 2013 from the comfort of his childhood home, and since evolving his multi-instrumentalist sound and production skills Richard Orofino has already amassed a prolific body of work and widespread support, achieving well over a million plays with past singles such as ‘i heard you were looking for the moon’ and ‘Redeye’.
